Visit statistics, gender and age
What the store counts when you visit, and the gender and age you can choose to give.
The store keeps its own visit statistics, so labels and DJs can see how many people look at their music and pages. We do not use outside analytics or advertising trackers for this.
What is counted
For each page you open: the page, how long you stayed, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system and whether you are on a phone or computer, your language, and the city, state and country worked out from your internet address. Your browser keeps a random number so a second visit is counted as the same visitor. Visit details, including internet addresses, are kept for up to 90 days; after that only totals are kept.
Gender and age range
In Account settings you can give your gender and your age range. Both are optional; choose Rather not say to leave them out, and you can change or clear them at any time. They are added to the totals labels and DJs see: up to yesterday, and an answer shows only when at least ten people gave it, so nobody can be picked out.
Who sees what
Labels see totals for their own pages and music, and DJs see totals for their own DJ page. Neither ever sees your name, email or internet address. The store's staff can see visit details to keep the store safe and running. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
