Copyright and Takedowns
Every label, artist, producer and distributor selling on Listnbox must own or control the rights to the music, sounds and artwork they provide. We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). The full policy is in section 13 of our Terms of Use.
Reporting a problem
If you believe music, sounds or artwork on Listnbox use your work without permission, send a rights report or write to our Copyright Agent. Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough);
- the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the track, release or sound on Listnbox you want removed, with its link;
- your name and contact details, including an email address, and a postal address and telephone number if you have them;
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

What happens next
We remove or disable access to the material, tell the Seller who provided it, and send them a copy of the notice. A Seller who believes the material was removed by mistake may send a counter-notice, as section 13.5 of the Terms of Use explains. Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of Sellers and users who repeatedly infringe.
